As LIRA evolves through the years, new programs are introduced. 

In 2008, LIRA introduced the new Research and Development Industrial Project Needs which aims at answering national industrial project needs. In this section, industrial companies can propose projects for students to study and, if applicable, build prototypes. 

Your industry's needs will be listed for students to read and participate in by giving solutions and ideas through the website, by email, or by contacting you and setting an appointment. 

Regardless of the field or fields your industry covers, you will find many students who will have enough credibility due to their previous work and experience with projects in the same field(s), and who will be ready to help you with any requirements or needs you face with your project by the suggestions and the solutions they may offer.
